I strongly believe among the most important things a scientist can do is to teach and communicate a love and appreciation for the natural world and scientific discovery. Foremost, this means meeting with and engaging students in the classroom. I have worked with several educational institutions, museums, and science centers in order to communicate and teach paleontology and other sciences to both younger and older generations. I also actively communicate my latest research on social media and through the press.
I have taught K-12 students at several schools and science centers, including the Children's School in Stamford, Connecticut and Walking Mountains Science Center in Avon, Colorado. Undergraduate courses for which I have acted as a teaching assistant or mentor include:
E&EB 290, 291L: Vertebrate Comparative Anatomy Spring 2024
BIOL 104: Introduction to Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Fall 2023
EVST 040: Collections of the Peabody Museum Fall 2023

I feel it is incumbent upon me as a young scientist to consistently and effectively communicate my research to the public. Some of my public lectures and invited presentations include:
Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History 2023 Presentation on Classics and Paleontology to Yale College seminar, “Ecocultures of Antiquity”
Earth Sciences Club of Northern Illinois 2022 Vertebrate Paleontology of Mesozoic Eastern North America
